Who wouldn’t want to get more involved in something that they are passionate about? To that end Dr. Andrea Marshall. and Dr. Simon Pierce. have always encouraged people to take a proactive approach to their travel or ocean hobbies.
“Making a difference out in the field and playing a role in the protection of our oceans is a rewarding and life changing experience.” – Andrea Marshall
Demand from their supporters combined with the need to fund our international research has inspired the Marine Megafauna Foundation to create several incredible public expedition options:
These exclusive opportunities allow members of the public to join Marine Megafauna Foundation researchers out in the field at some of the most renowned sites in the world. Explore new aggregation sites, encounter megafauna in remote destinations and learn from MMF biologists as a part of your travels abroad!
Note: These expeditions are not a part of the Marine Megafauna’s 501c3 Foundation but each expedition helps MMF scientists achieve research or conservation goals in the field. A percentage of the proceeds from each participant goes directly back into MMF programs to support on-going research projects.
